After downloading txeet, many users encountered a force close issue like the following:

This happens only for certain handsets, and only when users tried to open txeet via Market > Open.

We are glad that this annoying bug (from Android side actually), has been solved. Version 1.0.10 has been released just to solve this.

For the technically inclined, this is how we solve it.

Apple’s appreview team reviewed txeet and deemed that it should be rated 17+, as it contains adult theme. They sent me a screenshot of the app:

Okay.. there are adult jokes and vulgarity in some of the templates.. but they are funny and interesting :)

After 3 months of porting txeet from Android to iPhone, the work is completed at last!

The good news is that txeet on iPhone is as good (if not better) as that on Android. In terms of feature, they are the same.

A lot of lessons were learnt in the development of the iPhone app. I would be sharing some valuable lessons in the use of iPhone’s CoreData in the coming days.

A lot of work was put into beautifying the app too. You might have notice the new txeet icon used.

For now, let’s pray that Apple review team can approve the app quickly, so that it will be in time for Valentine’s Day!
